So it was off to Northbrook Park for Nathalie and Mark’s Wedding on a glorious sunny spring day. Spring and early summer were traditionally the most popular times to get married – and you can appreciate just why when the sun shines down and the wedding party and guests can enjoy the spectacular grounds of a venue such as this one.
Northbrook Park is a privately owned Grade II listed, eighteenth-century manor house set within 120 acres of stunning countryside on the Surrey/Hampshire border near Farnham. With magnificent architecture, this grand Surrey estate is set in picturesque countryside. What a perfect backdrop for your wedding day. I thought it was a fantastic venue – light, wonderful grounds, lots of opportunities to take informal shots of guests enjoying the sun. The peacocks are quite a feature too – they roam freely throughout the gardens and are supposedly a symbol of good fortune. But even the display by the white Peacock couldn’t upstage Nathalie and her beautiful dress on the day!
I actually took the photos of the groom’s brother a few years back and it was lovely to see them again with their two children.
A mention to the caterers – Caper & Berry from nearby Godalming – www.caperandberry.co.uk – they created totally amazing food. And Northbrook Park – www.northbrookpark.co.uk – I would love to do more work here.
