Well – after a busy and most enjoyable weekend, here are a few pictures from the Wakehurst Place Wedding Fayre today.
What a stunning location for a wedding fayre and more importantly a wedding – Wakehurst Place was looking rather gorgeous in the spring sunshine. Lots of visitors to the grounds and Wedding Fayre alike – and I met up with friends old and new.
I was lucky enough to be sited in front of an enormous fireplace, guarded by two full size bronze monks. And it was warm and cosy in the mansion – away from that rather chilly northerly wind outside.
My good friend, Emma was just around the corner with her beautiful bridal gowns. Today she had brought a selection of wedding dresses in three or four shades of ivory and of bespoke design. Emma has a Bridal Boutique in East Grinstead, West Sussex and offers a complete and unrivalled service (no extra costs added on) and a nicer person you couldn’t wish to meet – www.emmatindley.co.uk
But time to pack up and head for home and bid farewell to fellow exhibitors. Stopped for a bit of the most delicious Victoria sponge cake – and here’s hoping that some of the lovely couples that looked through my albums will be in touch in the near future!
