If you are planning your wedding in 2016/17 or beyond, pop along to the Wedding Fayre at Wakehurst Place this Sunday, 24th April 2016 and visit me at Sarah Critchlow Photography! I would love to meet you, hear about your forthcoming wedding plans and show you some of my work.
The Wedding Fayre is hosted by AB Special Events of Mid Sussex and there is free entry – plus free parking for visitors to the Fair. Open from 11am until 3pm, Wakehurst is a truly stunning venue set within world class botanic gardens. For those thinking of holding their wedding at Wakehurst Place it is easy to create unique photo memories for every individual couple with the stunning backdrops in the gardens – whether it be in the natural woodland, next to one of the lakes or ponds, hidden in the walled gardens – or further afield at one of the oversized wicker flower sculptures. The Mansion itself offers a rare glimpse of Elizabethan life with the Gallery and Dining Room offering unrivalled elegance and sophistication for ceremonies and partnerships alike, whilst the Mansion Lawn can play host to the most romantic of outdoor ceremonies.
Wakehurst is a National Trust site owned by Kew and is home to a vast collection of trees as well as the Millennium Seed Bank which opened in 2000. The Great Storm of 1987 decimated the original plantings on the estate toppling 20,000 trees. Since then, Kew has redesigned the gardens to create a walk through the temperate woodlands of the world. One tree that has survived however is the largest growing Christmas tree in England, a giant redwood. The tree stands 110 feet tall and is lit with around 1,800 lights from Advent until Twelfth Night. Imagine a December wedding with photographs under that tree!
So come along and have a chat this Sunday! Whether you are planning a large wedding with lots of guests – or perhaps it is to be an intimate ceremony, with just a few friends and family – I would love to be part of your wedding plans.
I will work closely with you from start to finish, ensuring your day is captured to represent your own style and uniqueness. And on your wedding day I will blend unobtrusively, using my originality and imaginativeness to create lifelong memories that will smile back at you through the years to come. However I am more than happy to assist in the organizing of any group shots that you requested allowing you time to enjoy every minute of your day with your family and friends. Apart from this I want to observe and capture the feel of your special day.
Look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
